Join Amazon Data Services, Inc. as a Project Manager for Critical Data Center Initiatives. Our AWS Infrastructure Services team is responsible for the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS's global infrastructure. We ensure that the cloud remains operational by supporting all AWS data centers, including servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment. The Critical Projects Implementation (CPI) team manages construction activities within operational data centers, focusing on critical infrastructure improvement projects that enhance the utilization of space, power, and cooling globally. We are currently seeking a skilled Project Manager to provide technical expertise in our data centers.
In this role, you will:
Oversee and review projects across all disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, controls, and architectural.
Identify areas for improvement based on data from various teams and implement innovative solutions to address operational challenges.
Collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams while contributing independently as needed.
Manage projects aimed at improving electrical, mechanical, fire detection, and building automation systems.
Ensure project consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

Basic Qualifications:
5+ years of project management experience in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure.
5+ years in construction or project management.
5+ years of experience in on-site construction trades, such as mechanical or electrical work, and vendor management.
Preferred Qualifications:
BA/BS in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a similar technical focus.
5+ years in power distribution or data center mechanical cooling systems.
Strong ability to manage technical discussions, trade-offs, feedback, and evaluate new ideas with stakeholders.
Proven success in delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
