Position Summary
Odyssey is seeking a
Junior Information Assurance Specialist
to support the
PEO OPMED
mission at Fort Detrick in Frederick, MD. The Information Assurance Specialist Junior - will plan, coordinate, integrate, implement, manage, and maintain IA and IT solutions IAW Risk Management Framework (RMF) and IAVM program. IA Support Specialist - Junior will assist with the development of RMF documentation and conduct, maintain, review system audits and audit records, and resolve discrepancies. Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to: * Maintaining security policies and standards. * Ensuring compliance throughout the organization. * Participate in the development or modification of the computer environment IA security program plans and requirements. * Recognize possible security violations and takes appropriate action to report the incident, as required. * Ensure IA requirements are integrated into the Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) for that system or DoD Component. * Ensure IA security requirements are appropriately identified in computer environment operation procedures and collect and maintain data needed to meet system IA reporting requirements. * Work with system owners to close IAVMs/ICVMs and open plans of action and milestones (POA&Ms) in a rapid fashion, in accordance with DoD instructions/directives. BA/BS Degree with 1 Year of Experience OR No degree with 3 Years of Experience Years of experience:
