Lead Principal Data Scientist

The Specialty Pharmacy AI team is looking for a highly skilled and enthusiastic Lead Principal Data Scientist to spearhead the design and execution of AI solutions, with a special focus on Generative AI. In this role, you will act as the technical lead for a portfolio of multiple AI projects, team up with talented data scientists, and oversee all phases of the data science project lifecycle, including: Identifying problems and estimating their value. Building proofs of concept. Scaling solutions to production. Monitoring performance post-launch. We seek someone with a profound passion for improving healthcare outcomes through analytics and a keen interest in leveraging cutting-edge AI technologies. Required Qualifications: 7+ years of relevant analytics experience. Extensive experience using Python and SQL in data science roles. Familiarity with Generative AI trends and technologies, including major LLM provider APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic). A passion for exploring new AI tools and integrating them into workflows. Preferred Qualifications: Strong communication skills for conveying technical concepts to business partners. Experience in AI model refinement and orchestration, including prompt engineering and model fine-tuning. Proficiency in mathematical analysis methods, including predictive analytics and natural language processing. Experience with healthcare data, such as claims or clinical data. Mentoring experience with junior data scientists, ensuring high technical quality standards within the team. Familiarity with Vertex AI and Google Cloud Platform is a plus. Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, etc.). Master’s degree or PhD preferred. Pay Range: $144,200.00 - $288,400.00 (actual salary based on experience, education, geography, and other factors).
