Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist who will play a pivotal role in analyzing complex data sets to extract valuable insights that drive strategic business decisions. This position acts as a vital link between technical expertise and business strategy by collecting, cleaning, and interpreting data. The successful candidate will develop predictive models and effectively communicate results and findings to various stakeholders. Key responsibilities include: Collecting, reviewing, analyzing, and maintaining a series of databases to generate impactful reports. Ensuring data integrity of internal databases through thorough analysis for inconsistencies and errors, and repairing data sets as needed. Drafting comprehensive weekly and quarterly reports related to evolving datasets. Leading a team of Data Scientists, hosting meetings, conducting performance reviews, and facilitating continuous improvement through training and feedback. Managing team performance while ensuring high production quality and adherence to acceptance criteria. Transforming data from various sources into usable formats with a sharp focus on data quality. Evaluating and enhancing data models to validate predictive capabilities and assess performance metrics. Modeling and analyzing data using statistical methods and learning algorithms to identify patterns and insights. Developing visually engaging weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports and presentations for stakeholders. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into effective data-driven solutions. Implementing quality control measures to ensure data analysis accuracy. Providing support to team members with data analysis tasks, flow charts, and job aids when necessary. This role offers a starting pay rate of $50/hr. Skills and Requirements: Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially with Excel formulas and pivot function for data analysis. Technical proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL. Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and Scikit-learn. Familiarity with big data platforms such as Hadoop and Spark. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business, or a related field. A minimum of 8 years in advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and database management. 2-3 years of leadership or management experience.
