Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a passionate Senior Solutions Architecture Manager to join our emerging technology team within the Studios Technology group at Amazon MGM Studios. Here, we create and produce original films and television series for a global audience and we're looking for someone who can innovate and enhance our production and post-production workflows.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to:
Lead and manage a team of skilled solutions architects focused on research and development of emerging technology.
Drive innovation by identifying and integrating novel concepts into production and post-production processes.
Collaborate with internal teams at Amazon Studios, AWS, and third-party vendors to create and implement pilot programs.
Shape the strategic technology roadmap for the Studios organization, developing scalable and cost-effective solutions to optimize production workflows.
Oversee the Innovation Lab to help accelerate the integration of new storytelling technologies.
Represent the Emerging Technology team and promote our vision both internally and externally.
The R&D team plays a crucial role in driving innovation by introducing new technologies into the production and post-production domains. Through thorough research, experimentation, and prototyping, we improve existing workflows and enhance the user experience. Our team documents and refines new solutions to ensure performance optimization, cost-effectiveness, and reliable deployment.
Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in solutions architecture, R&D, or a similar leadership role.
Proven experience in managing high-performing teams.
Deep understanding of cloud technologies, media workflows, and the production lifecycle.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of relevant experience in the media or entertainment sector.
Hands-on experience with emerging technologies like AI and machine learning.
Strong connections within the broader media technology community.
A successful track record of launching innovative technology solutions.
Able to engage effectively with both technical and creative stakeholders.
