The Kean Skylands campus, located in Jefferson Township, New Jersey, is designed to serve as an outdoor living laboratory for field-based scientific study and other classroom and field instruction. We are excited to grow our faculty and invite Lecturer applications for the fall 2025 semester. 12 Month Lecturers are non-tenure track faculty. Full-time Lecturers teach 36 credits for the academic year; part-time Lecturers teach 18 credits for the academic year. Teaching assignments may be assigned at any of Kean’s New Jersey locations – Union, Ocean, Princeton, Skylands or Kean Online and may include day, evening and weekend courses. Evening hours are required based on department needs for teaching evening courses and for most graduate course assignments. Lecturers are required to teach, provide student academic support, provide service to the university and community and perform other related faculty responsibilities. Proficiency in a Learning Management System is also required, consistent with University guidelines. 12 Month Lecturers are responsible for performing their teaching and non-teaching responsibilities for the twelve-month period of their appointment. to teach MS courses in the PA program at the Union campus; actively participate in accreditation and assessment activities; conduct clinical site visits off campus and perform clinical assessments; and perform other Lecturer duties as needed and assigned. Qualifications:

Master’s degree; a minimum of one year of teaching experience at the post-secondary level or the equivalent professional/clinical experience as determined by the University; current Physician Assistant license in the State of New Jersey or eligibility for licensure; and current NCCPA certification is required.
