We are seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager. This candidate will drive programs across Product Engineering, with a primary focus on our “Slack First” initiatives. Salesforce has a mandate to make new features “Slack First” so that Slack becomes the conversational interface for Salesforce software. This TPM will work on highly cross functional programs bringing together teams across Salesforce to utilize Slack. This includes building out operations to make the planning, building, integration, testing, release, and go-to-market motions efficient and repeatable.
This TPM must be highly technical and understand software architecture so that they can represent Product and Engineering in cross functional conversations.

You have experience collecting product and technical requirements for complex projects that span multiple teams.
Responsibilities
Craft and run programs that align to the highest priority Cloud integration initiatives.
Become a domain expert in your spaces with the ability to articulate how the engineering systems works, process flows, and can quickly recognize dependencies and risks
Be a strategic partner to senior product and engineering leadership. Become a strong influencer with credibility with peers and stakeholders, capable of building productive, trusting relationships with partners.
Develop and roll out operational strategies, tools, and processes for new and existing teams
Build and maintain timelines, project plans, and communication artifacts to ensure everyone is operating from the most recent and accurate information
Create and modify dashboards, track dependencies, run reports, and flag risks
Build automated reporting and alerts for bugs, risks, and sprint reports. And provide regular updates on programs via reports and presentations.
Track areas of concern, escalate risks, and identify blockers with accountability for ensuring resolutions are reached
Track end-to-end projects against the committed dates and release schedule
Requirements
At least 7 years leading planning, program management, and project lifecycles in a dynamic product or engineering organization
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or two years of equivalent training, or work experience
Experience working on large cross functional programs bringing together teams with different ways of working and conflicting priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with sufficient level of technical capability to effectively communicate with engineers, scope technical projects, and identify technical risks
Incredible organizational and interpersonal skills, and experience managing activities across multiple teams
Demonstrated track record of delivering complex projects and programs with cross-functional teams
Experience with agile and/or lean product development practices and principles
Self-motivated and the ability to motivate others
Can effectively navigate and cope with change and operates well in spaces with ambiguity
