Compensation Analyst
About the Role
The Compensation Analyst will provide compensation services and consulting support to assigned client groups. The role will also be the primary contact and responsible party for the monthly and quarterly store bonus calculation process and assist in administration of the company stock plan, with support from the Sr Manager of Executive Compensation.
This role is onsite Monday-Thursday at our office in The Colony, TX.
Responsibilities
Monthly & Quarterly Store Bonus Programs:
Calculate and administer bonus payouts and prepare accruals supporting the month-end close process.
Stock Plan Administration:
Prepare transactions such as restricted stock releases, dividend payouts, and award issuance. Assist with audits, checks, reporting, and SEC filings (Forms 3, 4, and 5).
Compensation Team Initiatives:
Support salary survey participation, annual merit cycle, and other projects.
Incentive and Compensation Programs:
Assist in developing and administering programs including long-term incentives and Board of Director compensation.
Client Support:
Provide compensation services such as market price-outs, job requests, and salary grade determinations.
Vendor Relationships:
Maintain relationships with outside vendors and service providers.
Additional Tasks:
Complete special projects and perform ad hoc analysis as needed.
Criteria
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience, plus 3-5 years in compensation, including statutory requirements.
Interest in broad-based and executive compensation, and stock administration.
Strong computer skills, with advanced Excel and working knowledge of HRIS systems, Word, and databases.
Technical Skills
Experience with Oracle Cloud preferred.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
