The Estimator is responsible for creating project budgets and estimates for large-scale structural steel projects. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, the ability to learn quickly, and practical experience with complex structural steel projects. Reporting directly to the Estimating Manager, the Estimator collaborates with the team to implement estimating procedures and techniques, ensuring accurate and competitive proposals for projects ranging from Design-Bid-Build to Design-Build/Assist.

Estimating Duties :
Prepare and assist with conceptual budgets based on minimal information such as $/SF or $/Ton. Review and interpret drawings, specifications, scope, and schedules to ensure complete scope and accurate pricing. Perform material takeoffs accurately, applying relevant codes. Solicit and review quotes from specialty contractors. Identify potential risks and design challenges in project plans. Develop cost summaries for bids. Work with the Sales team to prepare complete bid proposals. Attend kick-off meetings to facilitate project transition from Sales to Operations. Qualifications :
Proficient in estimating software, especially BlueBeam, Tekla Power Fab Suite, and Tekla Models. Strong mathematical and computer skills. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, Teams, and Word. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Compensation :
