Technical Project Manager (Integrations)
Octagos Health, Houston, Texas, United States, 77246
We are seeking a dedicated Technical Project Manager (TPM) to join our Integrations team, one of the most critical, customer-facing groups at the company. This role is instrumental in driving operational efficiency by accelerating integration timelines, directly impacting how quickly our customers go live and how fast we generate revenue.
The ideal candidate will bring strong healthcare IT project management experience and a proactive, detail-oriented approach to managing technical onboarding. This role is a force multiplier, freeing up existing team capacity, reducing integration delays, and ensuring customer implementations are technically sound, timely, and revenue-accelerating.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Integration Ownership: Lead technical onboarding projects for new customers, from initial kickoff through to go-live, ensuring all integration components (e.g., HL7, FHIR, APIs) are deployed accurately and efficiently. Accelerate Time-to-Value: Actively reduce the time required to complete interface builds and related technical onboarding tasks. Measure and improve KPIs tied to onboarding duration and revenue realization. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate closely with the Onboarding, Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams to eliminate bottlenecks, align timelines, and improve system handoffs. Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer integration engagements, managing timelines, expectations, risks, and escalations. Internal Capacity Enablement: Alleviate load on senior PM and technical leadership, enabling them to focus on higher-level product strategy and IT operations. Process Optimization: Identify and standardize repeatable workflows that shorten integration lifecycles while maintaining high reliability and compliance standards. Post Go-Live Support: Manage post-deployment validation and troubleshooting to ensure a smooth customer experience. Required Qualifications:
3-5 years of project management experience in healthcare IT, ideally within a high-growth or startup environment Experience managing technical EHR integrations and customer implementations Familiarity with cardiology IT systems, Epic, or other leading EMRs strongly preferred Proven track record of managing complex technical timelines with internal and external stakeholders Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Why This Role Matters:
The Integrations Team is small but vital-currently comprising just three customer-facing team members (1 PM, 2 Engineers) and two developers. With integrations being a critical path to revenue, a dedicated TPM allows onboarding to begin 2-3 weeks earlier in many cases. This hire will expand team bandwidth, allow senior PMs to focus on strategic initiatives, and accelerate cash flow by reducing customer go-live delays.
