Executive Assistant Location: Chicago, IL | In-Office About the Role Our client, a leading private equity investment firm headquartered in Chicago, is seeking an experienced and highly organized Executive Assistant to support one of its senior executives. This is a high-visibility role requiring exceptional judgment, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a dynamic workload in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Provide high-level administrative support to a senior executive, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and domestic/international travel planning Serve as a liaison between the executive and internal/external stakeholders, exercising discretion and professionalism at all times Draft and proofread correspondence, reports, and presentation materials with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Coordinate logistics for board meetings, investor meetings, and internal events Track and manage expenses, including preparing monthly reports and handling reimbursement submissions Proactively anticipate needs and provide seamless day-to-day support to ensure the executive's time is optimized Handle confidential information with the utmost integrity and discretion Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum of 5–7 years of experience supporting a senior executive, ideally within financial services, legal, or professional services industries Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of professionalism, discretion, and emotional intelligence Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with expense reporting tools is a plus Flexible, resourceful, and solutions-oriented; thrives in a high-performance culture The Equus Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer and takes pride in maintaining a diverse environment.
