Job Summary: The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative (PSR II) is a key frontline role representing the company to patients seeking laboratory services. This position is responsible for drawing high-quality blood samples and preparing them for lab testing while ensuring a safe, professional, and compassionate experience. The PSR II promotes trust, explains procedures clearly, and demonstrates strong leadership behaviors and confidentiality while operating in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Collects blood specimens skillfully and safely from patients of all ages. Prepares specimens for laboratory testing following established protocols. Verifies and labels patient demographic information accurately at the time of draw. Maintains all necessary documentation and records with precision. Upholds a safe and professional working environment. Travels to and covers other Patient Service Centers/In-Office Phlebotomy locations as needed. Adheres to all company policies, including dress code and safety guidelines. Demonstrates excellent customer service and communication skills. Participates in training at various locations depending on trainer availability. Required Experience:

3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary draws. Valid driver's license and clean driving record (if applicable). Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. Must have reliable transportation. Nice-to-Have Experience:

2 years in a Patient Service Center environment. Prior customer service experience in a retail or healthcare setting. Experience with keyboarding and data entry. Required Skills:

Excellent phlebotomy skills (pediatric and geriatric) Ability to work independently Strong attention to detail in fast-paced environments Preferred Skills:

Customer-focused communication Organizational and multitasking ability Flexibility for schedule changes and travel Knowledge of clinical specimen protocols Familiarity with healthcare safety and confidentiality practices Additional Skills:

Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred) Phlebotomy certification (required in CA, NV, WA; preferred elsewhere) Leadership behaviors and adaptability Process excellence focus Benefits:
