About the Role: We have an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Software Development Engineer in Test to support our Technology team, based in Shelton, CT or Miami, FL. You will lead the design, development, and implementation of automated testing solutions to ensure quality, performance, accessibility, and reliability of our mobile and web applications. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to promote a culture of quality, champion Test-Driven Development (TDD), ensure ADA compliance, lead performance testing initiatives, and support production validation. in a fast-paced, agile environment. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Develop and execute test strategies for mobile (iOS and Android) and web applications, ensuring cross-platform functionality, responsiveness, and performance. Design, develop, and maintain scalable, efficient automated test frameworks and test suites. Integrate with test management tools like ADO. Analyze test results, identify root causes, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues. Work with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and ensure feature testability and accessibility. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and monitor execution and results. Use tools like BrowserStack for cross-platform testing. Mentor junior QA engineers, promoting best practices in automation, accessibility, performance, and quality. Qualifications (examples): Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Required). 5+ years in software testing and automation. 2+ years mentoring QA engineers. Strong programming skills in languages like JavaScript, Java, or C#. Experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium. Experience with TDD environments. Knowledge of accessibility testing and ADA/WCAG compliance. Experience testing mobile apps on iOS and Android. Familiarity with performance testing and production validation tools. Experience with API testing tools like Postman. Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker. Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
