Overview
JST is seeking a Data Scientist/Business Analyst to join our team.
This is a full-time position in Washington, D.C., Dayton, OH, or Austin, TX.

This position is contingent upon contract award. Data Scientist/Business Analyst Responsibilities Gather and analyze requirements by working with various stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into clear and concise requirements for IT projects and initiatives. This includes conducting interviews, workshops, and surveys to gather information and document processes. Analyze existing workflows to identify and document areas for improvement and optimization. This involves streamlining processes, automating tasks, and suggesting and implementing new technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Assist project managers in planning, executing, and monitoring IT projects by developing project plans, tracking progress, managing risks, and communicating with stakeholders. Collect and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform decision-making. Create reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings to leadership and other stakeholders. Research and evaluate emerging technologies to determine their potential value and applicability to the mission. Attend and/or participate in industry events, read research papers, and conduct pilot projects. Data Scientist/Business Analyst Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field 6+ years of relevant experience Flexibility to work in fast-paced environments and adapt to changing priorities. Strong time management skills are required to work under tight deadlines. Ability to work autonomously in a highly dispersed remote organization. Travel is required and expected based on support needs. Other duties as assigned. Clearance Requirements Must be able to pass a US Government Security Clearance.
