The Manager of Operations Procurement will oversee end-to-end parts and material procurement for all store builds, repairs, and new concepts across the organization. The primary responsibility is to meet/exceed install targets from the volume of builds, timely procurement of parts, availability of machines to build, and maintaining the highest store uptime performance from parts on hand. This role will lead vendor management, support engineering needs, maintain (Bill of Materials) BOM documentation, budget with timely PO submissions in partnership with finance, and accurate store inventory and parts reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Procurement of parts and materials (50%)
Oversee the sourcing and purchasing of materials, components, and equipment.
Ensure procurement of parts, which includes overseeing suppliers and production partners to source high-quality materials and components that meet standards and cost savings.
Manage purchasing processes, including supplier selection, negotiations, and order fulfillment.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to maximize value while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Ensure alignment between procurement planning and store build schedules.
Ensure accurate and aligned with engineering BOM (bill of materials) documentation. Monitor and assess supplier performance and conduct evaluations for the best vendors and parts in the market. Create redundancy of suppliers.
Proactively mitigate risks related to component shortages or production delays.
Communicate expected deliveries to cross-functional teams and warehouses.
Ensure accurate counts of all parts in warehouses, in transit, and on order, with a paid/not paid understanding.
Supply Chain Vendor Management and Relationship Building (20%)
Maintain an accurate list of all vendors.
Identify, evaluate, and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure high-quality, cost-effective procurement.
Lead contract negotiations, pricing agreements, terms, and delivery timing, and quality of service/product level expectations.
Foster collaboration between vendors and internal teams, including engineering and operations.
Monitor market trends and supplier performance to drive continuous improvements.
Financial partnership and reporting (20%)
Partner with finance to develop a budget, weekly/monthly spend estimations and actuals, and processes for all costs and expenses.
Ensure timely PO processes and sourcing availability.
Work closely with finance to develop and manage procurement budgets.
Ensure timely and accurate PO submissions and payments to vendors to align with financial planning and install/repair targets.
Create and manage reports of (bills of material) BOM for each concept with on-hand and on-order. This should include # of available complete store builds and gaps to targets.
Communicate daily/weekly/monthly spending performance, budget needs, and parts availability.
Store and Machine Inventory (10%)
Manage machine store inventory of machines in locations and status availability to build.
Ensure serial numbers are updated and tracked to each machine and stored
Understand machine location reporting, including dark storage
Education
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. AA, BA or BS degree in warehouse logistics, engineering, or related field preferred. A Master's Degree in supply chain or engineering is a plus.
Experience
3+ years of experience in business, operations, supply chain, and/or vendor management.
Skills
Strong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
Inventory management computer systems, such as NetSuite, are a plus
Advanced Excel skills
Certifications
Warehouse management and technical assembly are a plus

Work Environment
This is an in-person role at the San Leandro, CA, warehouse.
Ability to regularly lift 10 pounds, occasionally lift up to 70 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
