Residential Construction Superintendent

Construction company is seeking experienced Superintendents to join our team! The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all jobsite activities necessary to successfully complete the project on schedule and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards. Construction of homes includes extensive earthworks, concrete, and a keen eye for finish details. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY WITHOUT PRIOR RESIDENTIAL / CUSTOM HIGH-END / HILLSIDE EXPERIENCE. Primary Duties : Oversee all trade and field personnel required to successfully complete the project. Communicate with owners, architects, and internal team about field issues; investigate and resolve such issues. Ensure the site has proper materials ordered and scheduled inspections as necessary. Create monthly schedules and determine sequencing of work. Manage the overall site safety program as required and ensure subcontractor compliance. Maintain a professional appearance and positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employees. Supervise and develop Assistant Superintendents and Project Coordinators, including completing performance appraisals. Required Skills : Minimum 10 years of experience in high-end custom residential construction. Ability to forecast and monitor project costs. Understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading. Ability to work well under pressure and within deadlines. Focus on finding solutions rather than just identifying problems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook email, and MS Project is a MUST. Proficiency in Procore Construction Management software is a plus. Knowledge of all construction tools, machinery, methods, and procedures. Ability to calculate figures and apply basic algebra and geometry concepts. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Demonstrate leadership and strong communication skills.
