Schedule: Full-Time | Department: Activities & Recreation Oak Village Healthcare, a skilled nursing facility in Oaktown, IN, is seeking a creative, energetic, and compassionate

Activities Director

to lead our recreational programming and enhance the quality of life for our residents. As the Activities Director, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing a well-rounded activities program that meets the emotional, social, and recreational needs of each resident. Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a monthly calendar of engaging programs, including movies, crafts, games, parties, projects, outings, and more

Conduct resident assessments and interviews to ensure programs are person-centered and responsive to individual interests and needs

Promote resident involvement in physical, social, spiritual, and educational activities

Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure activity participation aligns with residents’ care plans and medical orders

Coordinate monthly Resident Council meetings

Assist with resident shopping needs and help manage the facility’s smoking program

Maintain proper documentation of activities and participation in PCC

Qualifications:

Certified Activity Director (or eligible through completion of supervised training under a Certified Activity Consultant)

NCCAP certification preferred

Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting strongly preferred

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
