Fire Protection Engineer Location:
Miami, FL Arcadis is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to join our Places Design & Engineering group. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in facility design, with a valid FPE license in a U.S. State. This role involves leading fire protection design projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards such as NFPA, NEC, and UL. The candidate should have proficiency in Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, and related software, and experience with federal projects is a plus. Responsibilities include: Leading design teams and mentoring junior staff Developing construction-ready drawings and specifications Ensuring compliance with fire safety codes and standards Managing budgets, proposals, and client relationships Traveling to project sites for surveys and collaboration Qualifications: BSc in Mechanical or Fire Protection Engineering Minimum 9 years of consulting engineering experience Fire Protection Professional Engineering License in the US Experience with IFC design packages for federal facilities (preferred) Arcadis offers a diverse and inclusive workplace with comprehensive benefits.
