This position is responsible for acting as a lead individual contributor within the contract administration department, working to establish and maintain relationships with HCSC's premier and high-end growth account management and customers. The role involves driving key initiatives to advance team productivity, supporting special projects, leading quality improvement initiatives, reporting and analysis, and acting as a product owner and key stakeholder to ensure continuity of deliverables across contract administration areas.
Required Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 4 years of health insurance contract operations experience OR 8 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with 2 years of health insurance contract operations experience. Knowledge of health products, procedures, underwriting requirements, contract, and funding arrangements. Analytical and reporting skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Project management skills. Customer service experience and acumen. Leadership skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills for managing staff, operations, and building relationships. Preferred Job Qualifications:
Experience as an account manager or supporting large, complex contract negotiations. Management consulting experience. Process improvement skills. Experience in a matrixed environment. Software development or business analysis experience. Knowledge of external adjudication processes and large account contract specifications. Knowledge of health insurance product lines and marketing practices. Data analysis experience. Scripting experience. Ability to synthesize information/data. Experience with reporting tools like Power BI and automation. Experience with data ingestion and triage tickets. Strong communication skills to translate technical language into business context. Ability to support process improvements and lead technical projects independently.
