About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and hands-on
Cyber Security Engineer
to help safeguard our cloud and hybrid environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement security controls, respond to threats and deploy cloud-based security solutions across platforms such as AWS, Azure, Kubernetes and Docker. Key Responsibilities: 1. Cloud Security Implementation & Compliance Deploy and maintain security controls for cloud/hybrid environments (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.). Ensure compliance with security standards (NIST, ISO 27001, CCM). Assist in developing and maintaining cloud security policies and best practices. 2. Security Operations & Incident Response Monitor, investigate and respond to security alerts and incidents. Support threat intelligence and vulnerability management efforts. Assist in conducting root cause analysis and preparing remediation plans. 3. Security Tool Deployment & Integration Assist in implementing security tools such as SIEM, IAM and Web Application Firewalls (WAF). Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to enforce secure configurations and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) practices. Support security automation and integration projects. 4. Process Improvement & Stakeholder Collaboration Work with internal teams to identify and close security gaps. Document policies, procedures and incident reports. Stay updated on emerging cloud security trends and technologies. 5. Additional Responsibilities Liaise with vendors and support teams on technical security issues. Participate in ongoing security training and development. Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security or Cloud Security roles. At least 1 year of hands-on experience with AWS or Azure security features. Strong knowledge of cloud security risks and mitigation strategies. Experience with security technologies such as IDS/IPS, endpoint protection and log management. Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk or Securonix). Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, SSL, DNS) and OWASP Top 10 threats. Experience with WAFs, proxies, and security configuration is a plus. Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CompTIA Security+, AWS Security Specialty, CEH). Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
