Workday Security Lead (on W2)
Location -
Raleigh, NC/Charlotte, NC/Atlanta, GA/Richmond, VA/Orlando, FL/Greenville, NC/Zebulon, NC/Greensboro, NC/Winston Salem, NC/Wilson, NC - Remote
Duration -
Long-term Contract (extension/conversion)
Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist in design, implementation, and management of security controls for Workday environment. Ensure security configuration is robust and effective. Assist in investigation and response to security incidents related to Workday environments. Participate in root cause analysis and remediation efforts. Support SOX audit activities by ensuring Workday security controls are in place and functioning. Prepare documentation and evidence for compliance. Build non-functional monitoring capabilities and provide escalated support for highly complex applications in production. Maintain security controls and processes, monitoring in support of company standards. Lead moderately complex projects and participate in larger initiatives.
Qualifications (must haves):
5-8 years of experience in HR Technology projects and teams. 3-5 years of Workday Security experience across HCM, including domain security policies, business process security policies, security groups, and user-based assignments. Experience configuring and maintaining Workday Security roles, creating new roles, and managing dynamic groups. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and record tasks accurately. Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, aligning solutions with workforce planning strategies. Strong communication skills for translating business needs into technical requirements and conducting gap analysis. Familiarity with TDLC, Agile frameworks, and tools like Rally.
Nice to have:
Experience with Rally Agile tool. Knowledge in additional Workday functional areas such as Performance, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, and HCM.
