Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Produce high quality, maintainable and scalable software to support IoT (Internet of Things) applications Develop software using Agile methodologies, such as Scrum Participate in peer reviews and pull requests to yield high quality software Adhere to coding standards and other best practices to create reusable code Collaborate and work creatively with the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) teams to provide requirements traceability from definition to implementation Partner with senior engineers to implement software features of limited scope Be proactive in raising concerns with development activities to increase code quality Contribute to technical discussions in community of practice, design review, or other technical meeting forums Responsible for complying with the security requirements set forth by the Information Security team and the established ISO 27001 Security Roles, Responsibilities, and Authorities Document found in the ISMS Document Library Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams. Protect Chamberlain Group's reputation by keeping information confidential. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed. Minimum Qualifications

Education/Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience Experience:

iOS Developers must have native iOS experience in Swift (~0.5 years, 2 years without degree) Android Developers must have native Android experience in Kotlin (~0.5 years, 2 years without degree) Experience can be through personal projects, internships, or online training Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to work well as part of a team is required Strong analytical and problem solving skills are required Good communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally with back end and quality engineers is required Knowledge of basic best practices: Descriptive variable and function naming; Quality code comments; Good object-oriented programming design Knowledge of using Git for source control Other:

Ability to travel up to 10% of the time domestically and internationally Preferred Qualifications

RESTful API calls and JSON parsing JIRA The pay range for this position is $50,700.00 - $95,700.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
