This role is a unique opportunity to join the stage zero of an SF Bay rocketship poised for take-off. xdge has spent about two years building a robust platform based on extensive market research & feedback. We are seeing early signs of product market fit - and investing in a sales organization starting with this role. The ideal candidate is someone who has been a founding sales leader or early sales manager of an earlier successful startup and is looking to rebuild from scratch. In terms of startup-speak, we are looking for the textbook $0 to $1M head of sales.

Job Description

The role is for a highly driven Sales Leader to join our team in the SF Bay area. The position involves working closely with the co-founder/CEO. The role will primarily require prospecting and generating demos with technology and knowledge-worker industry companies ranging from 100 to 1000 employees. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of sales management experience and 5 years of experience selling within the tech industry to similar customer profiles - managers of tech, IT, security, knowledge & communications infrastructure.

Responsibilities / What you'll do

  • Work closely with the co-founder/CEO and achieve a rinse-repeatable Product Market Fit for xdge
  • Reach out to C-Suite and management of targeted accounts to generate demos
  • Follow up on leads and maintain contact with potential customers
  • Build processes & foundations for the sales organization to follow
  • Participate in daily sales huddles and shape sales strategies
  • Create accurate data entry and reporting mechanisms
  • Potentially travel to customer locations as needed

Qualifications / What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
  • The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of sales management experience and 5 years of experience selling within the tech industry to similar customer profiles - managers of tech, IT, security, knowledge & communications infrastructure.
  • Strong references and proven ability to exceed quota & lead by example
  • The candidate should love the thrill of hunting & wake up every day wanting to win customers
