Job Summary
The Human Resource Assistant facilitates the daily administrative operations of the human resource department and interacts with employees, management and other business associates.
Duties Answer phone, screen, and routes calls Assists people at the window Makes name badges for all employees Completes Employment Verification forms Orders supplies for department Keeps supplies of New Hire, Leave of Absence and Benefits packets Scans documents into the electronic HR files Answer inquiries concerning availability of employment opportunities Explains and answers questions about hospital employment policies and requirements Answers questions pertaining to employee benefits Assists employees in completing changes in health, life, TSA, W-4's, address, name changes, etc... Assists job seekers at the Kiosk and personnel who are testing Schedules appointments when requested Assists with credentialing process for Interns/Externs/Travel Staff as needed Completes projects and performs other duties as assigned Other Info:
Lifting Requirements: Semi-Sedentary: Sits and walks throughout workday. Generally lifting objects not more than 25 Ibs. and/or carrying objects weighing 10 Ibs.
