Job Title: Surgical Technician Non-Certified Ambulatory Surgery Center

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technician to join our team in an ambulatory surgery center. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of surgical procedures by preparing and passing instruments and equipment. You will work closely with the surgical team to provide high-quality patient care and ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment. Responsibilities: Establish and maintain a sterile field, pass instruments and suture to the physician, and assist as directed. Use the physician preference card as a starting point when pulling cases and setting up the OR. Ensure that preference cards are kept up to date and complete. Work effectively as a member of the team caring for the patient. Cooperate in team planning and execution. Maintain a safe environment by implementing technical and aseptic practices at all times. Demonstrate clinical expertise in use and care of all surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment. Adhere to Universal Barrier Precautions for both patient and own safety in all patient care situations. Demonstrate competence to monitor and control the surgical environment. Maintain proper traffic control, dress codes, and adherence to OR sanitation policies and procedures. Familiar with facility policy and procedure regarding decontamination, processing, and sterilization of all instruments and supplies that are processed within the facility. Demonstrate competence to perform assigned patient care responsibilities in a manner that meets the population-specific and developmental needs of patients served by the department. Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required. 2 or more years of experience preferred. BLS required. Work Schedule: TBD Work Type: Per Diem As Needed
