Delaware North Sportservice is searching for a full-time Payroll Accounting Coordinator to join our team at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. Unit Description

Delaware North purchased the historic Boston Garden in 1975 and later constructed its successor, TD Garden, and neighboring The Hub on Causeway, both of which we continue to own and operate. As New England's largest sports and entertainment arena, TD Garden is the home of the storied NHL's Boston Bruins and NBA's Boston Celtics franchises and hosts over 200 events annually with over 3.5 million visitors.

Responsibilities

Ensure the payroll complies with local, state, federal, and company policies Partner with managers to ensure all team members are paid accurately Act as a point of contact for team members who have questions about their pay Process union dues deductions and prepare check requests for payment Review and process purchase orders and invoices in the accounts payable system for approval Qualifications

Prior experience in payroll accounting preferred Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and practices Above average Microsoft Office Suite skills and computerized accounting skills is required Strong guest service orientation, with a focus on accuracy in handling confidential information Physical Requirements

Ability to understand and take appropriate action on all payroll-related issues Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including excellent Excel skills Beneficial to have proior work experience in a payroll or accounting position
