Registered Nurse Manager Charlotte Surgery Center is hiring a Registered Nurse Manager Welcome to Charlotte Surgery Center Charlotte Surgery Center is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. JOB SUMMARY: The Nurse Manager is responsible for all departmental functions in support of the hospital mission, vision, and facility goals. The Manager identifies the cost-effective systems needed to support the business of the department taking into account business trends, resource availability and changes in customers. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors. The Manager identifies and remedies variances through continuous customer satisfaction data and employee involvement. The Nurse Manager works with Senior Management in meeting Facility goals. Oversees Pre-op/PACU/PAT; assists as Pre-op/PACU/PAT RN as necessary. Required Skills: Education Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing. BSN preferred. Two (2) years experience in surgery management that must include pre-op, intra-op, post-op care with total joint and spine experience. Licenses/Certifications/Registrations Current Florida RN License BLS & ACLS Certification required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Independent decision making skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects. Excellent communication skills with staff and physicians. Organizational Relationships: Supervises: All staff in Pre-op, PACU, PAT Contacts/Interacts with: Physicians, all facility staff, Board of Managers, patients and families.
