Under general supervision, receives, stores and issues materials, equipment and other items. Performs manual and clerical tasks involved in the distribution of supplies and materials. Job Specific Duties
Delivers and transports supplies. Determines proper storage methods, identification, and location based on turnover, environment factors, and physical capabilities of facilities. Issues and/or sells supplies or merchandise. Marks items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment. Orders supplies to maintain stock. Packs and unpacks items to be stocked in stockrooms and warehouses. Receives and counts items, and records data manually or using a computer. Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas. Verifies inventory by comparing Minimum Qualifications:
Vocational/Technical degree from an accredited college OR High school diploma or GED AND one year of experience in shipping and receiving OR One year of experience at the lower level Supply/Warehouse Clerk 1 (FES010) or position equivalent. Note: Some positions require possession of a valid driver's license. Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to the minimum qualifications, possess two or more of the following: Two or more years being responsible for inventory control of supplies. Two or more years of experience ordering, issuing, and maintaining supplies. Two or more years of experience shipping and receiving supplies. Experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word Ability to lift 45 or more pounds. Ability to operate pallet jack, dolly and various warehouse equipment. Ability to assemble and break down furniture and other items. Ability to work in cold or dry environments. Benefits:
