Lead Software Engineer F/T
Overview Build leading-edge easy-to-use web interfaces and web services that drive our exciting platform that will be serving millions of users. Role. •Improve Mastercard products, software architecture, and our development process. •Work with a diverse group of co-workers, understand customer needs, and develop solutions to meet those needs. •Perform systems design and analysis, solution definition, development, testing and implementation of various client-server, web-based software application system of internal Mastercard products and software solutions offerings, intended to reach and support billions of credit card transactions per month. •Provide database and software modeling work and maintenance coverage for specific core software applications. •Analyze requirements and work closely with colleagues in overall governance and creation of detailed software designs that are congruent with internal paradigms. •Deliver software solutions by providing day-to-day technical leadership and mentorship for a team of other developers as well as contributing hands-on to the development of the software. •Develop innovative new approaches to complex design problems and identify product solutions gaps to innovate new technology. •Oversee testing and implementation of product solutions and solve technical gaps where needed.
About You •Position requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering or related and two (2) years of experience in the job offered, or as a Programmer Analyst, System Test Engineer, Quality Assurance Engineer, or related. In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
