Junior Systems Integration Technician
Futron is seeking a qualified Junior Systems Integration Technician (JSIT) to support the installation and integration of field systems. This role involves hands-on installation of AV and related systems, ensuring maximum infrastructure availability and performance. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and committed to safety, quality, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, and support audiovisual and related systems in the field. Ensure system functionality, availability, and adherence to industry standards. Execute installation projects according to company policy and procedures. Assess and implement improvements to achieve team and organizational goals. Maintain strong communication with internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients. Qualifications and Requirements: Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government Secret clearance required, with the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role. Preferred experience with A/V rack wiring. AVIXA CTS certification is a plus. Technical Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Proficient with cable terminations (RJ45, Captive Screw, XLR, RCA). Experience with copper/fiber cable pulling through conduit, raceways, and open spaces. Familiarity with mounting systems: flat panels, projectors, LCD/LED video walls. Cable management experience in ceiling environments is beneficial. Soft Skills: Detail-oriented and organized with strong critical thinking. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Effective communication and conflict resolution skills. Professional demeanor and customer-focused mindset. Additional Requirements: Strong written and verbal communication. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Basic arithmetic knowledge. Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in both office and construction environments. Comfortable working under pressure and handling criticism constructively. Travel Requirements: Travel may include up to 80% CONUS and OCONUS assignments. Typical travel spans 1-2 weeks; occasionally up to 3 weeks for large-scale projects.
