Compensation: $16.00 Hourly Employment Type: Casual Scheduled Weekly Hours: 10 Grade: NE09 Department: Building and Facilities Position Summary
During the assigned shift, supervises the day-to-day operations of the Fitness Education Center. Must be committed to serving a diverse college community. Actively participates in and contributes to continuous quality improvement. Duties & Responsibilities
Performs opening and closing procedures; ensures the safety and security of the Fitness Education Center. Inspects facility to ensure proper functioning pools, tennis courts, instructional areas, gymnasium, weight room wellness center, and classrooms; identifies hazards and minimizes risks. Responds to medical and facility emergencies. Oversees the work of assigned facility personnel. Sets up equipment in instructional and activity areas. Resolves complaints and inquiries. Balances cash daily and prepares bank deposits. Assists in regular and emergency custodial and maintenance work. Participates in in-service training programs as scheduled. Initiates work orders with POM, and follows up on work order completion. Performs related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
One (1) year experience in fitness facility management or a related field. Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certifications required. Experience in management or administration may compensate for education on a year to year basis. Background check required. EEO Statement
