Job Opportunity at Wyoming State Parks
Join Wyoming State Parks for a summer of adventure and teamwork in beautiful Guernsey State Park. The park is located just miles from Guernsey, WY, and is home to one of the most diverse State Parks in Wyoming with everything from boating, hiking, and mountain biking on the recreational side, to the Oregon Trail and Civilian Conservation Corps on the historical side. All these activities are found within Guernsey State Park's boundary and its three satellite sites. The park is currently seeking enthusiastic staff to fill positions in maintenance, in visitor services in our fee booths, and in the museum. Housing may be provided. Preferences/Agency Requirements:
For all seasonal positions, preference may be given to applicants who are professional while providing excellent customer service. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be at least 16 years of age. Detail-oriented, accurate, and thorough in completing assignments/tasks. Good interpersonal skills, allowing the ability to interact with visitors from around the world. Willingness to work on a variety of assignments every day. Experience in handling money, cash registers, and retail sales. Must possess excellent customer service skills. Ability to manage and complete multiple projects with variable timelines and scopes of work. Basic construction and maintenance knowledge. Basic operational knowledge of light and heavy equipment use, as well as hand and power tools. Basic safety awareness of equipment use. Minimum Qualifications:

Physical Working Conditions: Must work outdoors in all weather conditions. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds, with or without assistance. Notes: FLSA: Non-Exempt Housing may be provided. Seasonal positions require irregular hours of work, including weekends, holidays, and evenings. Please indicate which type of seasonal position you are interested in (Fee Collector/Supervisor, Maintenance, or Museum Attendant) when completing the supplemental questions.
