Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Quality Engineer in Oklahoma City, OK! This position will focus on supporting the E-3 AWACS Program Quality organization. This position requires a Bachelor's degree in one of the following relevant fields of study: Engineering Computer Science Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology) Mathematics Physics Chemistry Data Science IT (Information Technology) Biology Environmental Science Management Science Quality Systems Quality Assurance Manufacturing Management in Quality Life Sciences Statistics Aviation Technology Aviation Maintenance Science Aeronautics Aeronautical Science Astrophysics Aviation and Aerospace Safety Aviation Science Position Responsibilities: Researches contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements for applicability to specific proposals and program processes and documentation. Develops sections of quality metrics, design and production certification plans to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements. Analyzes capability assessments to support supplier selection activities. Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs. Performs data analysis to ensure manufacturing and test readiness. Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions. Compiles performance reports and other statistical data to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved. Works under general supervision. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study 1+ years of experience performing product inspection 1+ years of experience interpreting engineering drawings and specification 1+ years of experience performing data analysis 1+ years of experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCCA) and Corrective Action 1+ years of experience with quality systems (e.g., Boeing Quality Management System (BQMS), International Organization for Standardization (ISO9001), Aerospace Standard (AS9100) Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Aerospace experience Active security clearance This position may require up to 10% travel. This position is for 1st shift
