Position Summary
TheatreSquared seeks a warm, dependable, and service-minded Lead Concierge & Community Experience Assistant to help shape the front-of-house experience for one of the nation's most welcoming professional theatres. Reporting to the Audience Services Manager and Director of Community Experience, this position plays a critical role in ensuring that each patron's journeyfrom arrival to departureis smooth, positive, and centered in hospitality. Working alongside the Audience Services Team and in close coordination with Commons caf staff and stage management, this role helps uphold the theatre's standard for service excellence while actively contributing to its broader mission of equity, inclusion, and community. Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support the Front-of-House Welcome Team during performances in the absence of the Audience Services Manager. Lead house management responsibilities, including entrance and seating oversight, lobby readiness, and audience flow. Work closely with stage management to coordinate curtain times and performance starts. Provide real-time leadership and problem-solving for any patron concerns or operational challenges. Generate performance reports and support accurate documentation of each event. Partner with the Commons Bar/Caf team to ensure a high-quality service experience pre-show, at intermission, and post-performance. Maintain a clean, welcoming, and safe environment in all public-facing areas. Embody TheatreSquared's values of empathy, hospitality, and service while acting as a key liaison between patrons and the organization. Remain available to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced, dynamic setting. Demonstrated experience leading teams or supervising in a customer service or hospitality-focused environment. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Comfort working independently and managing multiple priorities with grace. Ability to navigate patron concerns with empathy and tact. Strong problem-solving instincts and attention to detail. Compensation
This is a part-time, hourly position starting at $16.00 per hour.
