Los Angeles Management firm is actively seeking a Labor Compliance Administrator. The Labor Compliance Administrator will assure compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act and other governmental labor requirements. The Labor Compliance Administrator must have working knowledge of union reports, fringe benefits & audits, employment verification, workers compensation and compliance reporting as well as strong Excel skills. Due to the nature of the job, we are looking for someone conscientious, highly detail oriented, with strong communication and organizational skills, able to prioritize and multi-task, honest, mature, and dependable. Education Seminars for Prime Contractor and Subcontractors as needed. Ensure administration and enforcement of labor standards. Screen Contractors for debarment from Federal contract construction projects. Preconstruction Meeting with Prime Contractor and Subcontractors to review and understand labor standards and contractual requirements. Customize contract exhibit to meet all labor standards provisions outlined by the Federal Agency. Monitor and enforce Prime/Subcontractor compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act and other labor requirements: In-depth review of Contractor Certified Payrolls. Notification of Certified Payroll deficiencies. Audit daily reports, sign-in sheets, time cards, cancelled checks and pay stubs. Respond to Federal Compliance Officer's letters of concern. Additional Prime-Contractor specific construction services: Review subcontractor payrolls on behalf of Prime Contractor. Monthly payment HOLD lists to the Prime Contractor for non-compliant Subcontractors Recordkeeping: Implement a record storage and document management program. Provide audit support that will fulfill the Federal Agency's requirements. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills) Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Act, Online quoting programs Bachelor's degree preferred; combination of education/experience will be considered 3 years' experience preferably Ability to work both independently and as a team player Ability to work in a fast paced environment with quotas and goals Attention to details and time management skills Excellent communication skills i.e. written/verbal Additional Information
