We're looking for a
Head of Firm Operations
to own the day-to-day execution of the firm and
serve as a strategic partner of the CEO
. You'll be responsible for making sure the firm runs with precision across people, process, and priorities while ensuring accountability, driving cross-functional alignment, and unlocking leverage for senior leadership. You'll directly oversee the leaders and vendors across:
legal, business operations, fund operations & compliance, IT, finance
, and
client service
ensuring execution across the business while optimizing internal systems, information flows, and planning cadences. This role requires a

Firm Execution & Leadership Enablement
Serve as the
CEO's operational counterpart
, helping drive the firm's top priorities, unblock decisions, and scale leadership capacity.
Own the execution rhythm of the firm:
weekly priorities, goal tracking, stand-ups, all-hands, leadership check-ins
, and cross-functional projects.
Ensure all departments and external vendors are
aligned, executing, and accountable
.
Create visibility and clarity across the firm with clean documentation, fast decision loops, and real-time information flow.
Team Management & Accountability
You'll lead and/or oversee projects on
budgeting and planning, legal and fund formation work, banking/payroll, performance management, and client service
Directly manage multiple departments within the organization, ensuring firmwide alignment.
Help these teams
break down quarterly and annual goals
into actionable project plans with clear ownership and deadlines.
Drive accountability through weekly reviews, shared dashboards, and execution rituals.
Identify and address performance bottlenecks across the business, whether strategic, organizational, or tactical.
Internal Systems & Process Design
Build and maintain core internal systems for
team coordination, documentation, onboarding, and goal setting
.
Leverage
AI tools and no-code automation
(e.g. Notion, Airtable, Zapier, Make, etc) to remove friction from manual processes.
Partner with product and engineering to define internal tooling needs and ensure operational systems are built to scale.
Continuously improve the way we operate, always looking for clarity, speed, and efficiency.
Strategic Planning & Execution
Partner with the CEO to run
quarterly and annual planning
, ensuring that company-level goals are realistic, actionable, and aligned across teams.
Monitor goal progress firm-wide and ensure leadership is focused on what matters most.
Lead special strategic projects that don't clearly fall under a single department but are essential to company growth.
Help surface blind spots, frame tradeoffs, and push for data-informed decisions.
Qualifications
4+ years experience in operational leadership,
biz ops, chief of staff, or general management roles in high-growth environments.
2-3+ years in hedge funds or asset management
Experience
managing other managers
and/or vendors, including ops, compliance, or finance leads.
Background in
hedge funds, startups, tech, finance, or investment management
.
Proven track record of driving
accountability and execution across cross-functional teams
.
Highly proficient with
internal ops tools
(Notion, Airtable, G Suite) and
no-code automations
(Zapier, Make, etc.).
Active user of
AI tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, etc.)
for task acceleration, writing, and workflow automation.
Extremely high standards for organization, clarity, and follow-through.
Strong communication skills; clear, candid, concise.
Excited to
