Job Title: Communications Coordinator Location: Saint Louis, MO Department: Marketing Reports To: Communications Manager Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Communications Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in driving our communications strategy and ensuring that our messaging aligns with our organizational goals. The ideal candidate will be creative, detail-oriented, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. In this position, you will work closely with various departments to create compelling content that reflects our mission and values. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote the organization's mission and initiatives. Manage and update the organization's social media platforms to engage users and increase visibility. Create high-quality content for newsletters, press releases, and promotional materials that reflects our brand voice. Support the planning and execution of events, ensuring effective communication and promotion before, during, and after each event. Coordinate with various departments to gather information and insights for internal and external communications initiatives. Monitor media coverage and prepare reports on the organization's public presence and engagements. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience in a similar communications or public relations role. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail. Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms, including analytics tools. Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and across departments. Benefits
