Production Supervisor

We are seeking an accomplished Production Supervisor to join a dynamic global manufacturing environment. This role is pivotal in driving production excellence, ensuring the efficient use of resources, and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement. The successful candidate will lead a team in achieving operational goals while prioritizing safety and development. Key Responsibilities:

Report directly to the Plant Manager to align production objectives and optimize operational efficiency. Promote a culture of continuous improvement by fostering employee engagement and development. Manage and motivate staff in alignment with company values and strategic objectives. Effectively oversee human and material resources to meet financial and manufacturing efficiency targets. Implement process improvements as part of a multi-functional team, driving change initiatives. Lead safety initiatives by identifying risks, conducting safety meetings, and coordinating safety activities. Enhance production availability by optimizing efficiencies and minimizing waste and downtime. Provide comprehensive training for a diverse workforce, leveraging best practices for development. Hold team members accountable for adhering to deliverables and work expectations. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of three years of supervisory experience in the manufacturing industry, with a preference for the paper industry. Proficiency in Lean manufacturing principles, ERP systems (such as SAP), and the Microsoft Office Suite is preferred. Experience in leading and coaching production teams. Certifications in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma are advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize workflow processes. Capability to work independently and efficiently prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting. Commitment to health and safety, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and fostering a safe work environment. Shift Details:

The role involves overseeing a rotating swing shift, totaling 15 working days a month, with two weekends off. The shift pattern includes working from 6:45 am to 6:45 pm, followed by two days off, then 6:45 pm to 6:45 am, followed by another two days off. Why This Opportunity Stands Out:
