The Fpa Lead is a key member of the Risant Health Financial Planning and Analysis team and plays a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis. The team is also responsible for long-term financial planning, investment evaluation, and strategic decision support. The team enables informed decision-making to optimize capital allocation, drive financial accountability and support the achievement of organizational financial goals. The Financial Planning & Analytics Lead oversees budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to drive business performance. This role is responsible for delivering financial insights and analysis to guide leaders on key initiatives, capital investments, and long-range planning, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: Lead and own the annual budgeting process, collaborating with key stakeholders to deliver budgets that align with Risant Health's strategic objectives. Lead modeling and quarterly forecasting processes to provide informed guidance to leadership and key stakeholders on potential financial performance based on operational results. Lead the development of consolidated capital and long-range plans by collaborating with Risant Health and its affiliated organizations to gather inputs on capital priorities, master facility plans, non-facility investments, and cash flow projections, ensuring alignment with enterprise capital standards. Oversee preparation and analysis of management reporting, including monthly and quarterly finance reports, variance reports, synergy tracking, and other ad hoc reports. Evaluate new initiatives and potential acquisitions for viability and expected returns, preparing clear financial findings for leadership presentations. Provide informed financial insights, analysis, and recommendations to leadership and other stakeholders to support strategic decision making. Drive process improvement to support optimal financial reporting and process. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field required. Minimum eight (8) years Financial Planning & Analysis experience or directly related business experience required. Minimum three (3) years owning both inpatient and outpatient financial operations in a large, non-profit hospital setting. Minimum three (3) years experience partnering with senior leadership (e.g. VP and above) on financial operations. Minimum three (3) years directing the work of junior analysts, either directly or on a project basis. Financial Planning and Analysis certification preferred. Certified Public Accountant certification preferred. Minimum two (2) years of experience in project management preferred. Minimum four (4) years of hands-on experience with advanced Excel functions (e.g. Power Query, Power Pivot, charts, dynamic arrays, macros, complex formulas, and keyboard shortcuts) to efficiently clean, manipulate and analyze data for actionable insights preferred. Experience with financial systems or BI tools (e.g. Workday, Workday Adaptive Planning, PeopleSoft, Tableau, PowerBI) preferred. Must have the following Technical and Interpersonal Competencies: Demonstrated strong understanding of financial management, including DCF, ROI analysis, and resource allocation. Experience in hospital system capital management. Ability to navigate ambiguous and novel business processes, implementing structure and process as needed to drive results in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving start-up environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across all levels of the organization. Intellectually curious with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a proven ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights preferred. Compensation and Benefits: The projected base salary for this position ranges from $127,500 to $168,300 depending on experience and qualifications.
