Supervisory Joint Force Coordinator Division Planner

Help As a SUPERVISORY JOINT FORCE COORDINATOR DIVISION PLANNER at the GS-0301-15 some of your typical work assignments may include: Supervises and coordinates the activities of the subordinate Branches within the Joint Force Coordinator Division (JFC) Division. Plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work. Responsible for evaluating and recommending courses of action the JFC division regarding all ongoing operations and force provider responsibilities, tasks and associated command and control requirements. Responsible for managing force providing of assigned forces for Advanced Concept Technology Demonstrations, experiments and exercises in support of joint staff efforts and events executed other combatant commands. Requirements: Must be a U.S. citizen Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service Resume and supporting documents (See How To Apply) Suitable for Federal employment, determined by a background investigation May be required to successfully complete a probationary period Work Schedule: Full Time Overtime: Occasionally Tour of Duty: Flexible Recruitment Incentives: May be Authorized Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA): Exempt Financial Disclosure: Not Required Telework Eligibility: This position is SITUATIONALLY telework eligible Employee must obtain/maintain a Special Sensitive (Top Secret/SCI) security clearance Drug Testing Designated Position: Yes Qualifications: You may qualify at the GS-15, if you fulfill the following qualifications: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service: Planning, developing, and executing extensive projects involving the full range of stakeholders; Leading role in the active participation in policy and decision making processes; Providing expertise, guidance and advice to Flag/General Officers (O-7 and above), Senior level/Executive Service civilians (GS-15 through SES 3) and senior staff (O-6); Providing oversight of internal and external operational command relationships, ongoing and planned operations training and exercises; Providing interpretation and enforcement guidance related to senior U.S. Government planning documents; Setting short, medium and long-term organizational objectives consistent with command strategic goals and objectives. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level. Education: This job does not have an education qualification requirement.
