The Senior Manager, Business Deposit Pricing Analytics will be a critical part of the team responsible for managing interest rates on American Express' checking, savings, and CD products. This role will focus on business deposit product pricing, combining customer and portfolio analysis, competitive insights, and macroenvironmental and monetary policy trends to inform pricing strategies, as well as playing a key role in supporting inputs to the deposit product roadmap. The Senior Manager will also execute pricing decisions and ensure alignment with our pricing governance approach. Key responsibilities include: Analyze customer balance flows, behaviors, and portfolio segmentation to assess balance sheet impacts and inform interest rate recommendations. Lead data-driven analytical efforts to unlock price elasticity learnings and structure price testing. Implement pricing changes with a focus on achieving operational excellence. Manage, prepare, and present materials in recurring Deposit Pricing Forum, to review insights on portfolio, competitive, and macroeconomic trends. Perform analyses on new product pricing constructs to support portfolio optimization and broader membership strategy and value proposition. Lead ongoing identification and monitoring of relevant competitive peer set across products. Source market pricing and benchmarking data from vendor partnerships and external channels, and research promotional campaign activity and macroeconomic indicators. Complete ad-hoc analyses as needed. Minimum qualifications include: 3 years in quantitative roles such as pricing, product/marketing analytics, or financial analysis. Prior experience in deposit pricing or product management (preferred). Proficient with data processing and statistical analysis tools such as SQL or SAS. Adept at data visualization using Microsoft Excel; experience with Tableau is a plus. Excellent presentation skills and ability to translate data into insights that drive recommendations. Strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills. Intellectual curiosity in banking and financial services, fostering an external perspective. Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to work with partners across different functions. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Positive 'roll-up your sleeves' attitude, initiative, and ability to work with a start-up mentality in a fast-paced environment. Maturity and flexibility to adapt as new organization grows and evolves. Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually bonus benefits.
