As the Finance Manager for CPG sales channels, you will lead financial planning, reporting, and analysis efforts to support some of Peet's fastest-growing customer segments. You will partner cross-functionally to drive revenue, improve margin performance, and ensure P&L accountability. This highly visible role requires strong business acumen, analytical depth, and the ability to influence commercial decisions. What You'll Do
Serve as the strategic finance partner to the Sales channel leads Lead development of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and long-range financial plans by customer and channel. Analyze revenue, trade investments, and gross margin drivers to deliver actionable insights and performance enhancements. Drive post-event analyses on promotions and marketing activations; support ROI modeling and pricing strategy. Own monthly P&L variance analysis and present key takeaways to senior leadership. Enhance reporting dashboards using Power BI and Excel models; drive automation and process improvements. Support business cases for innovation launches, distribution changes, and GTM investments. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, Demand Planning, RGM) to align volume and rate assumptions. Provide leadership and mentorship to analysts or interns as assigned. What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related; MBA or CPA preferred. 5+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally in CPG or eCommerce. Strong commercial finance background with experience in customer/channel-level planning and analysis. Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; Power BI experience strongly preferred. Proficiency in ERP systems (D365 a plus); comfortable working with large data sets. Excellent communication and storytelling skillsable to translate numbers into strategy. Proven track record of process improvement and cross-functional collaboration. Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities. Peet's Home Office is a hybrid worksite, which requires any Home Office employees to work onsite a minimum of 3 days/week (Emeryville, California). The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant's qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
