Finance Analyst

The finance analyst is a key member of the Consumer Finance team, supporting strategic and financial planning within the CPG channel at Peet's Coffee. This entry-level role offers valuable hands-on experience, working closely with cross-functional teamsincluding sales, operations, marketing, accounting, and corporate FP&A. It provides a strong foundation for career growth and development in finance. What You'll Do: Provide support on key financial analyses for the CPG business. Customer/product/channel profitability, margin analyses, SKU performance and analyzing ad-hoc commercial questions. Prepare various monthly and quarterly reports and balance sheet reconciliations related to the CPG business. Collaborate with the revenue management team on pricing and promotion, maintaining key pricing data. Support planning processes, including the Annual Operating Plan and Value Creation Plans. Deliver clear, impactful insights and recommendations, striving for standardized and efficient reporting across the channel. Own and maintain PowerBI reports to support business needs. Ad hoc reporting and analysis Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. 0 to 2 years of experience in finance. Analytical mindset with a structured and results-oriented approach. Team player with strong collaboration skills. Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint. Proficiency in PowerBI (or similar analytics tools). Experience with financial systems such as D365 and Anaplan is a plus but not required. Peet's Home Office is a hybrid worksite, which requires any Home Office employees to work onsite a minimum of 3 days/week (Emeryville, California). The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant's qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
