You'll join the Platform Engineering group responsible for the cloud foundation that keeps a global HXM product running 24/7. The team's next milestone is a full Azure-native architecture built on Infrastructure as Code, automated security guardrails, and one-click deploys. Expect green-field design alongside deep refactorsalways balancing reliability, speed, and compliance for a highly regulated domain. Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain Azure infrastructure (AKS, Functions, App Service, Storage, Cosmos DB, Key Vault, etc.). Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform (or Bicep) to enable repeatable, auditable environments. Create and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) for multiple microservices and front-end apps. Automate environment provisioning, blue-green deployments, and self-service workflows for developers. Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus/Grafana) to guarantee uptime and performance. Collaborate with security and compliance teams to embed best practices (least privilege, secrets management, vulnerability scanning). Partner closely with software engineers, product managers, and VPs to ship features quickly and safely. Document runbooks and share knowledge through pair programming and code reviews. Requirements
5 + years of DevOps/Site Reliability/Cloud Engineering experience. 3 + years designing and operating production workloads on Microsoft Azure. Strong IaC skills with Terraform (or ARM/Bicep) and configuration management (e.g., Ansible). Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD tooling, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS). Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Go). Familiarity with observability stacks (logs, metrics, traces) and incident response. Solid grasp of networking, security, and cost-aware architecture in the cloud. Excellent English communication skills and an ownership mindset. Bonus: experience in highly regulated or multi-regional environments (GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001). Perks and Benefits
