Production Clerk
Toppan is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Clerk to support our Thermoforming department in Waco, TX. This position plays a critical role in the preparation, maintenance, and distribution of production schedules, work orders, and related documentation. The ideal candidate will be proficient with manufacturing systems and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills. Key responsibilities include: Adhere to all safety policies and procedures at all times Create, review, and revise production work orders in the manufacturing system Assist in scheduling production work orders and maintaining up-to-date production schedules Record and track job performance and complete all transactions for each work order Prepare and organize quality and production documentation in compliance with ISO guidelines Coordinate the shipment of tooling between facilities Support inventory accuracy programs including cycle counts and physical inventories Generate operational performance reports and inventory reports Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Toppan SPS methodologies Maintain accurate records and documentation Remain flexible for overtime and weekend work as needed Required skills and qualifications include: Must be able to speak, read, and write in English Strong computer literacy including spreadsheets, word processing, databases, and ERP systems Ability to analyze MRP reporting for production planning Aptitude for accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Good problem-solving and decision-making skills 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred Physical requirements include: Frequent walking, including up and down stairs throughout the day Sitting for 56 hours or more daily Work performed indoors with exposure to humidity and production noise (below 85 dB) At Toppan, we believe People Build Businesses.
