The Software Engineering Analyst will be a key technical resource in Market Systems for the Liquidity Risk Management System (LRMS). This role involves working with various technical components such as OFSAA T2T, F2T, Forms framework, and run rule framework. The analyst will participate in liquidity risk management projects, document key business requirements, and develop technical specification documents. The position requires development, support, implementation, and enhancement of Oracle Financial Services Analytical Application (OFSAA) for Asset and Liability Management (ALM) and Liquidity Risk Management (LRM) modules. Major Responsibilities
Participate in ongoing liquidity risk management projects and document key business requirements, functional specification documents, and technical specification documents. Perform development, support, implementation, and enhancement of OFSAA for ALM and LRM modules. Independently develop Unix shell scripts and perform database query optimization and performance tuning for large Oracle databases. Actively coordinate multiple initiatives to enhance current reporting, including those required by regulation changes. Assist the LRMS team with project management activities, business process model design, application development, project testing, and documentation. Support the initial review and analysis of Help Desk Tickets as per ITA Problem Management procedure. Facilitate the design and implementation process for new products/projects and evaluate impacts on the operation. Coordinate and conduct tests and project implementations under the direction of superiors. Qualifications
Bachelor's in Computer Science, information Technology or related field. 1 - 3 Years of IT experience, with at least 1+ years as a software engineer/developer Proficient with data warehousing concepts. Experience in developing Unix shell scripts and performing database query optimization and performance tuning for large Oracle databases. Proficient with PL/SQL and RDBMS concepts Comfortable navigating dynamic environments, ambiguity and being a catalyst to drive decisions Experience of writing/updating scripts (Python/Shell) to process csv files Action oriented - escalates and resolves issues in a timely manner. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Preferred Skills:
Experience in Banking or Financial Services Technology with an understanding of financial / management reporting process would be preferable. Experience in building applications using OFSAA configuration components (Table-to-Table configuration, Run rule framework, Batch framework, OFSAA metadata, and forms framework). The typical base pay range for this role is between $85K - $121K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
