Process Technician

Hours: 6:45 pm - 5:15 am - 4 days on - 4 days off Location: Plant City, FL The Process Technician will report to the Plant Superintendent. They will be responsible for troubleshooting and processing thermoforming machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate possesses extensive knowledge of thermoforming equipment and processes, as well as a proven track record of success in fast-paced manufacturing environments. Must have the ability to work with various teams and successfully troubleshoot and process out complex issues with thermoforming equipment and tooling. Must have the ability to train lower-level TF operators on applicable subject matters. The successful candidate for this position must work with a sense of urgency and take pride in his/her hands-on abilities, troubleshooting, and processing skills. What You'll Be Doing:

Works with TF Lead, Techs, Tool Techs, and Set-up Techs on Set-ups/changeovers Process new tool setups to ensure the machine runs to standard and produces quality parts Works with an emphasis on safety and quality Ensure all tooling is installed correctly and set to correct tolerances Ensure all equipment/tooling operates/functions properly after tool installations Reduce/eliminate start-up and process scrap using troubleshooting/processing skills Perform equipment repairs, rebuilds, and installations during machine set-ups Receive direction from the Lead Set-up Technician and the Sr. Plant Process Engineer Maintain a clean work environment at all times Follow all aspects of plant, thermoforming set-up, and maintenance safety protocol Follow all aspects of thermoforming food safety and GMPs Participates in safety, health, and environmental programs Meet deadlines given for equipment set-up/production timelines Contributes and helps lead a highly productive, efficient, and team-oriented work environment Openly suggest process improvements/cost reductions We'd love to hear from you if:

Must have been a Lead Thermoformer Tech for a minimum of 2 years Extensive experience using industrial hand tools Extensive experience using tool sharpening/repair equipment such as stones, files, and pneumatic peening hammers Ability to use and read precision measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc. Excellent troubleshooting/problem-solving skills Extensive experience training lower-level TF Operators Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must have extensive working knowledge of our products and their quality requirements Must be able to safely use required tools/equipment to set up, adjust, and maintain thermoforms and thermoforming tooling Must be able to read applicable directional and informational documents Must be able to help develop and implement SOPs for the thermoforming department Must be reliable, have good initiative, be committed, and be safety and quality focused Why You'll Like Working With Us:
