Hours: 3rd Shift Full Time: Benefits Eligible Sign-On Bonus Offered* Responsibilities: Ensure accurate accessioning and labeling of specimens. Perform gross description and dissection of incoming specimens. Maintain specimen and patient identification integrity. Describe gross anatomic features of routine surgical specimens. Review clinical information for pathologic examination relevance. Examine specimens to identify pathologic conditions. Dictate findings clearly and comprehensively. Select relevant tissue samples for slide preparation. Refer complex specimens to senior staff when necessary. Ensure the laboratory's general appearance is well-kept. Adhere to OSHA laboratory safety standards and regulations. Handle biohazardous and chemical materials appropriately. Participate in safety training and maintain policy compliance. Maintain confidentiality of patient and company records. Effectively communicate with management, colleagues, and clients. Collaborate within a team-based work environment. May require occasional overtime, on-call availability, or flexible scheduling. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree in chemical, physical, or biological science, or medical laboratory technology. 1 year of laboratory training or grossing experience preferred. State licensure as mandated by law. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of laboratory training or grossing experience in a high-volume setting. Salary Range: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour.
