The Lift Maintenance department is looking for a Lift Electrician to add to the team! Formal training in electronics and lift electrical maintenance experience preferred. Essential Duties

Responsible for aiding in the monitoring and maintaining of all lift electrical equipment to ensure the safest and most reliable lift operation possible Will be involved in the installation of lift control systems on new and existing lifts Must complete work orders on all maintenance activities Must maintain an understanding of the current rules and regulations of the Colorado Passenger Tramway Safety Board and other applicable agencies Must become proficient at starting stalled ski lifts; assist in running lifts under auxiliary power and following lift failure and evacuation procedures Must continually demonstrate a willingness and motivation to learn and develop the job skills that are specific to the types of equipment that must be maintained Must be able to work well within a team to create a positive work environment in a high volume, and at times, stressful position May work nights and weekends during the summer and winter seasons as needed Must have a valid drivers' license without limitations or restrictions and meet company's insurability standards Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications

Must be able to read and write the English language Must be able to operate snowmobiles under adverse conditions (will provide training) Must have the ability to use small hand tools and electronic testing equipment. Formal training in electronics and lift electrical maintenance experience preferred Ability to adhere to all company Safety policies Must maintain an inventory of hand tools required in the performance of electrical maintenance and construction duties to include a digital multimeter 2 years of previous work history/education required Communicate clearly in English, both verbal / non-verbal, and written Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski and Resort Company's Service Excellence standards Education Requirements

Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits. Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay range: Starting at $23.00 - $33.00 per hour Physical Requirements

Must be able to climb lift towers and be able to work at heights greater than 50 feet Must have the ability to lift approximately 50 pounds Must be able to drive an automobile, pick-up truck, van and snowmobile Must be able to work under adverse weather conditions The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
