Generous Float Pool Differentials Sinai Hospital's Float Pool is currently looking for a Registered Nurse with a flexible and adaptable approach to patient care and a dedication to providing exceptional nursing support across various units and specialties. The Float Pool at Sinai Hospital is a designated supplemental staffing pool designed to be used by nursing areas when unit staffing is insufficient to meet patient care needs. We currently have openings for full-time and part-time in which all are eligible to participate in the clinical ladder as well as committees throughout the hospital. JOB SUMMARY: As a member of the patient care team the RN provides safe age-appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families. REQUIREMENTS: Not currently a LifeBridge Health employee Telemetry experience required 2+ years of experience in 2+ departments required Basic professional knowledge equivalent to a Bachelor's degree working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field Maryland Registered Nurse License American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and ACLS PREFERRED: Current Certification - NRP for WICU M/B L&D PALS for ED PACU PEDS PICU & CDCR Float Pool staff will follow a 6-week schedule and a weekend obligation of 4 shifts 3 major holidays and 2 difficult-to-staff days required. All staff are eligible for shift incentives once flex obligations have been met.
